Thirty Six Years ..and loving it.

June 12th 2011 marked our 36th wedding anniversary and loving it. Really hope that we have a happy life together that last eternally. Sometime I wonder how times fly.

With all the promises that we make and we break, why do you think people get married? Because we need a witness to our lives. Theres a billion people on the planet, I mean what does any one life really mean.

But in a marriage you’re promising to care about everything; the good things, the bad things, the terrible things, the mundane things. All of it, all the time, everyday. You’re saying, “your life will go unnoticed, because I will noticed it, Your life will not go unwitnessed, because I will be your witness.” ‘

Mignon McLaughlin says ‘ A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person ‘-. and here we are, and its truly lovelier 36 times around.

My Latest Books

My son Joey presented me a book’A Doctor in The House - A Memoirs of our former PM, Tun Mahathir Mohamad. It was for my birthday I guessed (belated). I remember he promised to get me something ‘big’ for that special day. This must be it. The other book was AMOT,- AMap of Terengganu., a second book written by Awang Goneng. I was there when he did launced his first book GUIT – Growing Up In Terengganu at Kedai Buku Abdullah Alyunani way back 2007. You can read it here.

Curiosity driven, one can't stop wondering why he chooses not to have AMOT, his second book launched here - Kuala Terengganu, where the happening were centered. Your guess is good as mine.
